It's Friday again. Wow, the weeks just fly by. The weather has started to feel cool in the mornings. A peek of things to come, I guess.
Labour Day weekend....I love days off but have always found this holiday a mix of sadness and excitement. My Dad tells me that when he was in school, he spent every Labour day trying to think of ways to avoid going back. He often considered running away with the carneys that worked at the Exhibition.
Sadness over the end of summer and missing those people I, somehow, only get the see in the summer. Excitement over new beginnings like school, fall projects, kids moving away. Yeah, there it is again. Between Keltie moving into her own place and Jessica moving to Banff on Monday, I am going to be a wreck!! I'm trying to hold it together but it just keeps getting in the way. Busy, busy, busy, that's what I'm trying to do. Rob just laughs at me, but I know he's not much better. Anyway, I will keep busy this weekend and Jessica keeps telling me that I can't fall apart too much because it just makes it harder for her. Oh, my God....I'm crying just writing about it. I am such a sap!!
